Kiwanis Club of TriParishes and Kids of the TriParishes teamed up to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday and Read Across America by launching their 3rd annual Read‑A‑Thon. This 60‑day program takes place in elementary schools in St John, St James, and St Charles Parishes and encourages 3rd and 4th-graders to build strong reading habits and improve literacy. Students have the chance to win exciting prizes, including gift cards and personal Chromebook computers, for reading the most books. They also receive free books to start them off. Even Dooby the Monster from the St. John Parish Library joined in to help kick off the fun!

🎓 ACT Prep Success!
Our ACT Prep event was a huge success! Students were engaged, motivated, and eager to learn strategies that will set them up for academic achievement and bright futures.
Terrific Kids Recognition of Garyville Magnet School!
We proudly presented 31 students with certificates of completion and celebrated 65 outstanding scholars who earned Honor Roll recognition. Their dedication and hard work continue to inspire us all!
St. Louis Academy Terrific Kids Recognition!
🌟 Celebrating Excellence! There’s nothing better than recognizing the incredible accomplishments of our students. From academic milestones to personal growth, we are proud to celebrate these terrific kids and all they’re achieving!
St. James High School College and Career Fair!
In partnership with Junior Achievement of Greater Baton Rouge, Kiwanis and Kids of the Triparishes hosted an exciting College & Career Fair at St. James High School.
Students from all grade levels had the opportunity to connect with colleges, local employers, and industry professionals — gaining valuable insight and inspiration as they begin shaping their futures.

Reel Memories: A Day Spent Fishing Together!
Ya know what they say about it taking a village! Kids of TriParishes joined the Kiwanis Club of TriParishes and Impact 365 as they gave the experience of fishing to our young people!
A Celebration of Student Innovation: West St. John High School Science Fair
We were inspired at the West St. John High School Science Fair, where over 65 student projects showcased creativity and innovation across science and engineering disciplines. Representing Kiwanis, Ms. Gwen Lee proudly served as a judge.
Learning Today, Saving for Tomorrow: Financial Literacy
We planted seeds for future success for students at Garyville Magnet Elementary by teaching financial literacy and helping them open savings accounts.
Spreading Holiday Magic Together
Children of all ages selected Christmas toys and shared special moments with Santa. The excitement from the kids is the true spirit of the season!
Together We Shine: A Community Celebration!
We had a blast celebrating Christmas with the family of St James ARC!
Pictures with Santa were a success!
Over 200 kids lined up for pictures, toys, coats, and blankets to make this a memorable Christmas.
We look forward to more community events with our kids in 2026!
